Christmas Holiday break – The Mermet factory closes for the Christmas holiday break the afternoon of Tuesday December 22nd, returning Monday 4th January.  Last regular despatch from France, Thursday 17th December (so last orders Monday 14th). Mermet UK office & warehouse closing also 23rd – 4th, last UK TNT despatches Monday 21st, unless by special arrangement.

Retirement

After nearly 20 years with the company, Richard Keen will be going into a well-deserved retirement from December 1st. For many of you he was ‘the voice’ and ‘the face’ of Mermet in the UK and many of you relied on his very extensive knowledge of all matters technical regarding screens. Richard assures us he will be available to answer any technical questions should the need arise, and we are sure we may well take him up on that. Your new ‘first contact’ within the company will be Ms Louisa Meek. Louisa has been with us for 3 years and we are sure her enthusiasm for both the company and products will be beneficial for all of you. Mermet Multi-Million Euro Investment

Over the past 18 months Mermet have made a Multi Million Euro investment into new looms.  This will increase capacity and from January we should start to see improved lead times for production.
